While in the FBI Asha was exposed to electronic surveillance interview and interrogation methods using firearms, as well as the use of force to kill. Asha obtained a bachelor's master's degree in international and public affairs at Princeton. She was also awarded the Fulbright grant to research constitutional changes in Bogota. Asha earned her law qualification in the year 2000 from Yale Law School. While at Yale, she was the Coker Fellow on Constitutional Law. She is a lawyer admitted to the New York State Bar, Connecticut and Connecticut. The op-eds of Asha have been published in The New York Times The Wall Street Journal The Washington Post and other publications. Asha is also an expert on legal issues on ABC News. She sits an editor on the board of Just Security and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
